Ingredients

  • One 10-ounce package frozen chopped Spinach
  • 2 Bacon slices finely chopped
  • 1 cup finely chopped Green Onions
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 3/4 cup Half-and-Half

Instructions

  • Cook spinach according to package directions. Drain well. Set aside.
  • Add prepared bacon and onions to a medium skillet.
  • Place over medium heat and fry until bacon is done and onions are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Quickly add in flour, seasoned salt, pepper and garlic to the bacon and onions. Blend thoroughly.
  • Return skillet to low heat.
  • Gradually add in the half-and-half, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Add the spinach. Mix well.
  • Increase heat and heat just to desired serving temperature. Do not overcook.
  • Serve hot.
