Ingredients

  • 1 stick Salted Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 2 cans Cherry Pie Filling
  • Powdered Sugar to dust

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  • Place pan in oven. Heat just until butter has melted. Remove from oven. Leave oven on.
  • In a medium bowl, add sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and milk. Mix well. Mixture will be thin.
  • Pour mixture over melted butter.
  • Pour both cans of cherry pie filling over top of flour mixture. Do not stir of mix.
  • Place back in hot oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Dust of powdered sugar.
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
