Cracker Barrel Peach Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients

  • Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • Vanilla Ice Cream for serving

Bottom

  • 1 1/4 cups Bisquick
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup 1 stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg

Filling

  • 2 15- ounce cans sliced peach slices in heavy syrup drained
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Topping

  • 1 tablespoon melted Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup sliced Almonds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Generously coat an 8-inch square baking dish with nonstick spray. Set aside.

Bottom

  • In a medium bowl, combine Bisquick, milk, 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix until until combined.
  • Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.

Filling

  • In another medium bowl, combine peaches and sugar. Mix well.
  • Pour over bottom batter in baking dish. Do NOT mix.
  • Place baking dish in preheated oven. Bake cobbler for 45 minutes.
  • Remove from oven - but leave oven on.

Topping

  • In a small bowl, combine1 tablespoon melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, brown sugar and almonds. Mix well.
  • Sprinkle mixture evenly over top of cobbler.
  • Place back in oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove allow to cool for 10 to 15 minutes on the counter.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
