- One 32-ounce carton Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
- 3 cups (about 1 1/2 pounds) shredded cooked Chicken (Note: One roasted chicken yields about 3 cups of meat.)
- One 10 3/4-ounce can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1/4 teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
- One 10-ounce can refrigerated Jumbo Buttermilk Biscuits
- 2 Carrots diced
- 3 ribs Celery sliced thinly
Place chicken broth, shredded chicken, soup and poultry seasoning in a Dutch over.
Place over medium high heat and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Increase heat to medium-high. Allow to return to a low boil.
Place biscuits on a lightly floured surface.
Roll or pat each biscuit to about 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into 1/2-inch-wide strips.
Drop strips, 1 at a time, into boiling broth mixture.
Add carrots and celery.
Reduce heat to low and cover. Allow to simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent dumplings from sticking.
Serve hot.
