Ingredients

  • 1/4 quart Heavy Cream or Half and Half
  • 1/2 stick Butter
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal Chicken Seasoning to taste
  • 1/2 jar (12 ounces) Barilla Tomato and Basil Spaghetti Sauce or other Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce, store bought or homemade, of choice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place cream and butter into a medium sauce pan. Place pan over medium high heat and bring to a boil.
  • Add Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, garlic powder and Montreal chicken seasoning. Stir to mix well and melt cheese.
  • Reduced heat to medium-low. Simmer, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes.
  • Add more pepper, garlic powder and/or Montreal chicken seasoning, if needed, to taste. Stir to mix.
  • Continue to simmer sauce on low heat for about 15 minutes.
  • Pour tomato and basil sauce into pot. Stir to mix. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
  • Taste. Add salt and/or other seasonings, to taste, if needed.
  • Serve hot over pasta, as a dipping sauce for appetizers or with Carrabba's Italian Grill Stuffed Mushrooms Parmigiana (See Box Below for a Link to this Delicious Appetizer Recipe).
