- 8 ounces Swiss Cheese shredded (Mild Irish Swiss or Emmentaler Swiss work well)
- 4 ounces Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 1 ⁄4 cup Flour
- 12 ounces Good Beer
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon Mustard Powder
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
In a small bowl, add Swiss and Cheddar cheeses and flour. Mix well.
Add beer to hot fondue pot. Heat until steaming.
Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic, mustard and pepper. Mix well.
Add cheese. Stir until melted and mixed smooth.
Serve immediately, with chunks of bread, veggies and apples for dipping in cheese mixture.
