Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a medium-size bowl, add flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, baking powder, sage, black pepper and paprika. Whisk to mix well. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, add vegetable oil, eggs, corn, honey, onion and buttermilk. Whisk to mix well.
Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet mixture, whisking together until all is incorporated, but taking care not to over-mix.
Spray a baking pan with pan spray.
Pour the cornbread batter into the pan. Swirl around until it is evenly distributed.
Place in preheated oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
Turn the pan. Bake for another 5 minutes or until golden.
Remove from oven and turn out onto a plate.
Cut into pieces and serve hot.
