- 2 ounces Jack Daniel's Whiskey or other Whiskey of choice
- 2 ounces Water
- 1 quart Heavy Cream
- 2 tablespoons Thyme
- 9 ounces Gorgonzola Cheese
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Pour Jack Daniel's and water into a cooking pot.
Place pot over medium heat. Simmer until reduced by half.
Add cream. Continue reducing until it coats the back of a spoon.
Add Gorgonzola cheese. Stir to melt into sauce.
Taste. Season with salt, pepper and thyme, to taste.
