Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Jack Daniel's Whiskey or other Whiskey of choice
  • 2 ounces Water
  • 1 quart Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Thyme
  • 9 ounces Gorgonzola Cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Pour Jack Daniel's and water into a cooking pot.
  • Place pot over medium heat. Simmer until reduced by half.
  • Add cream. Continue reducing until it coats the back of a spoon.
  • Add Gorgonzola cheese. Stir to melt into sauce.
  • Taste. Season with salt, pepper and thyme, to taste.
