Bob Evans Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Biscuit/Baking Mix Bisquick, Jiffy or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 1/3 cup Buttermilk or more, as needed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix until well-blended.
  • Turn dough out onto a floured board or work surface.
  • Knead dough about 10 times. Dough should be easy to roll out but not dry.
  • With a rolling pin, roll dough out to 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Using a cookie cutter, cut biscuits 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
  • Place biscuits on a cooking sheet.
  • Place in preheated oven. Bake 8 - 12 minutes or until done.
