Red Lobster Dew Garita Cocktail Recipe

Make our Red Lobster Dew Garita Cocktail Recipe at home. This Signature Restaurant Cocktail is a collaboration between two of our favorites, Red Lobster and Mountain Dew.

Ingredients

  • 1 Lime to rim glass
  • Tajín Seasoning to rim glass
  • 2 ounces Blanco Tequila
  • 1 ounce Mountain Dew Syrup (Recipe below)
  • 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Midori Melon Liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce Triple Sec
  • Splash Mountain Dew to top

Instructions

  • Prepare Mountain Dew Syrup according to the recipe below. Chill completely.
  • Pour a bit of Tajín seasoning onto a small plate.
  • Cut a wedge out of the lime. Use the wedge to rim a margarita or rocks glass with lime juice. (Save the lime to cut and squeeze for your 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed Lime Juice.)
  • Dip wet rim into Tajín and coat the rim (see photo above). Set aside.
  • Fill an ice-filled cocktail shaker with tequila, Mountain Dew Syrup, lime juice, midori and triple sec.
  • Shake until fully chilled.
  • Strain into prepared glass.
  • Top with a splash of Mountain Dew. (Be careful not to "splash" too much and ruin your nicely coated rim.)
  • Enjoy.
