Ingredients

  • 6 medium-sized (16 - 20 count) Shrimp, peeled, deveined and tails removed
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Stock
  • 1 teaspoon Corn Starch
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Garlic
  • 3 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1/4 cup White Wine
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 3 tablespoons chopped Parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a cup or bowl, fully dissolve corn starch in chicken stock. Set aside.
  • Add olive oil to a large skillet. Place over medium heat.
  • When oil is hot and shimmering, add shrimp. Sauté shrimp until just pink. Do not overcook.
  • Add garlic, butter, white wine, lemon juice and parsley. Continue to sauté, stirring, for a couple more minutes. Again, be sure not to overcook.
  • Add prepared chicken stock. Heat, stirring, until warm and thickened slightly.
  • Pour contents onto a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  • Taste. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Serve hot as an appetizer or party favorite with slices of garlic bread.
