- 2 teaspoons Vegetable Oil
- 2 1/2 tablespoons diced Yellow Onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped Garlic
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning of choice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Water
- 2 ounces Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon White Wine
In a small sauce pan, heat vegetable oil.
Add onion, garlic, bay leaf and Cajun seasoning. Sauté until lightly caramelized.
Add lemon juice, water, Worcestershire sauce and white wine. Bring to a boil. Lower heat to simmer and cook until mixture reduces in volume to 4 ounces.
Discard bay leaf.
