Bahama Breeze Guava Glazed Double Bone Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 double thick cut Pork Chops, about 10 - 12 ounces each (Your butcher will cut these for you)
- 1 cup Bahama Breeze Jamaican Marinade (Recipe below)
- 1/2 cup Bahama Breeze Guava Glaze (Recipe below)
Instructions
- Prepare Jamaican Marinade and Guava Glaze according to recipes below. Set aside.
- Trim pork chops of excess fat.
- Pour Jamaican Marinade into a bowl or serving platter big enough to lay the pork chops in. Place pork chops in marinade and marinate for 3 to 4 hours.
- Remove chops from marinade (discard used marinade) and place on a medium hot grill.
- Grill chops, basting with Guava Glaze until done.

Bahama Breeze Jamaican Marinade Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed Orange Juice
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dark Jamaican Rum of choice
- Freshly squeezed Juice of 1 Lime
- 1 Scotch Bonnet or Habañero Pepper seeded and minced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1/2 cup chopped Red Onion
- 2 Green Onions chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Creole Seasoning
Instructions
- Slowly add olive oil to the jerk seasoning, stirring with a wire whisk.
- When fully mixed, add all remaining ingredients. Mix well.
- Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to use.

- 2 cups your favorite traditional BBQ Sauce store bought or homemade
- 3/4 cup Guava Fruit Pulp
- 1 teaspoon Blackening Seasoning
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well with a wire whip until evenly blended.
- Store in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, until ready to use.
