Note – Named after the classic flambeed-banana dessert, Bananas Foster, the Bourbon’s Foster demands a quality banana liqueur to shine. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema used Giffard’s Banane du Brésil, a very good choice to be sure — but you can use any Banana Liqueur you choose.

Make this Straight-From-the-Restaurant Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Bourbon's Foster Cocktail Recipe at home. This Signature Restaurant Cocktail is a decadent mixture of bourbon and banana flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces Bourbon
- 1/2 ounce Spiced Rum
- 3/4 ounce Giffard Banane du Bresil or other Banana Liqueur of choice (such as Creme de Banana)
- 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1/4 to 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
Instructions
- To an ice-filled shaker, add all the ingredients.
- Stir to mix until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled Coupe, Martini, Rocks, Nick & Nora or other glass.
- Serve.
