Ingredients

  • Salt or Tajín to rim the glass
  • 2 Lime Wedges
  • 1 ounce Gold Tequila
  • 1 ounce Triple Sec
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1 Bottle Corona Beer

Instructions

  • Pour a layer of salt or Tajín out onto a small saucer.
  • Run 1 lime wedge around the rim of a margarita or other glass, of choice. Discard wedge.
  • Place glass rim-down onto the salt. Push down lightly and roll glass to fully rim with salt. Set aside.
  • To an ice-filled shaker, add all the ingredients, except beer. Shake until well-chilled.
  • Fill rimmed glass with ice.
  • Strain cocktail into prepared glass.
  • Open beer bottle and upend into margarita, do not pour, just upend quickly (see photo).
  • Garnish with remaining lime wedge.
  • Serve.
