Equipment

  • Cocktail Smoker and Cherry Wood Chips

Ingredients

  • 3/4 ounce Sagamore Rye Whiskey or other Rye Whiskey of choice
  • 3/4 ounce Trincheri Sweet Vermouth or other Sweet Vermouth of choice
  • 3/4 ounce Campari
  • Cherry Wood Chips to smoke
  • 1 Orange Peel to garnish
  • Rosemary Sprig to garnish

Instructions

  • To an ice-filled mixing glass, add rye, vermouth and Campari. Stir until well-chilled.
  • Strain into an Old Fashioned, Rocks or other glass.
  • Using a cocktail smoker, smoke the cocktail with cherry wood smoke.
  • Garnish with orange peel and rosemary sprig.
  • Serve.
