In a medium bowl, add flour and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well. Set aside briefly.
Pour buttermilk in to another medium bowl. Set aside briefly.
Drain pickles in a colander.
Place still damp pickle chips in the seasoned flour. Toss to coat fully.
Remove from flour and shake off excess.
Dip in buttermilk. Turn to coat fully.
Then toss back into seasoning flour. Toss to coat fully. Leave in flour while heating oil.
Pour enough oil into a large skillet or pot to deep fry pickle chips. (Alternately, use a deep fryer, if you have one.)
Place skillet or pot over medium heat and heat oil to 350°F.
When oil is hot, remove pickle chips, a few at a time, from flour, shaking off excess, and place in hot oil.
Fry until golden brown.
Remove and continue with remaining pickles until done.
Serve hot with plenty of good dipping sauces, store bought or homemade, of choice (See Box Below for Links to Recipes)
