The Capital Grille Cranberry Pear Chutney Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cranberries fresh
  • 1/2 cup granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Golden Raisins
  • 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground Ginger
  • Pinch of ground Cloves
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Onions finely diced
  • 1/4 cup Celery finely diced
  • 1/2 cup Pears peeled and finely diced

Instructions

  • To a large saucepan add cranberries, granulated sugar, brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and water.
  • Place over medium high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add prepared onions, celery and pears. Continue to simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and cool.
  • Store in a tightly covered container, in the refrigerator, until ready to serve, and any left overs for up to 1 week.
