Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup BBQ Sauce store bought or homemade, of choice
  • 4 strips Bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried Minced Onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Steak Seasoning store bought or homemade, of choice
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 hamburger Buns split
  • Lettuce Leaves to dress
  • Tomato Slices to dress

Instructions

  • In a small bowl combine mayonnaise and BBQ sauce. Mix well.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons mayonnaise/BBQ mixture, bacon, minced onion and steak seasoning. Mix well.
  • Crumble beef over mixture. Using your hands, mix meat into Mayo-BBQ-Bacon sauce until well combined.
  • Shape meat into four patties.
  • Place on a plate and store, covered, in the refrigerator, until ready to cook.
  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat for 5 - 7 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 165°F and juices run clear.
  • Top with cheese. Cover and cook 1 - 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
  • Spread remaining mayonnaise/BBQ mixture over buns.
  • Add burgers and top each with lettuce and tomato.
  • Serve.
