Ingredients

Cole Slaw Dressing

  • 1 1/2 cups Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons Buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon prepared Horseradish
  • 1/3 cup Dill Pickle Relish store bought or homemade, of choice
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper

Slaw

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped or shredded Cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped Parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Green Onions

Instructions

Cole Slaw Dressing

  • In small bowl combine mayonnaise, buttermilk, horseradish, pickle relish, mustard, cider vinegar, sugar and pepper. Mix well with a whisk.
  • Place, covered, in the refrigerator, for at least 30 minutes to chill.

Slaw

  • In large bowl place cabbage, parsley and green onions. Toss to mix well.
  • Whisk prepared Cole Slaw Dressing.
  • Add 3/4 cup dressing to slaw. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  • Taste. Add more dressing, if desired.
  • Place bowl, covered, in the refrigerator, for at least 30 minutes to chill or until ready to serve.
  • Store remaining dressing in a tightly sealed container, in the refrigerator, to make more slaw later or for additional uses (It makes a great spread for sandwiches and burgers).
