Ingredients

  • 1 ounce Watermelon Vodka of choice
  • 1 ounce Tequila of choice
  • 2 ounces Sweet and Sour Mix store bought or homemade, of choice
  • Black Lava Rock Salt or other salt of choice, to rim glass
  • 1 small Watermelon Wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour 1 tablespoon sweet and sour mix into a saucer.
  • Pour salt into a second saucer to cover in a thin layer.
  • Place a Martini, Coupe, Rocks or other cocktail glass, of choice, upside down into the sweet and sour mix to wet the rim.
  • Move glass to second saucer and place rim into salt to coat. Set glass aside.
  • Dip top of watermelon wedge into the sweet and sour mix and salt to coat in the same way (See photo of cocktail above). Carefully set aside.
  • To an ice-filled shaker, add vodka, tequila and sweet and sour mix. Shake until well-chilled.
  • Fill salted glass with ice.
  • Strain drink into glass.
  • Garnish by placing the watermelon wedge into the top of the glass.
  • Add a straw, if you like, and serve.
