Ingredients

  • Fine Salt as needed to rim glass
  • 2 Orange Wedges
  • 2 ounces Patron Silver Tequila
  • 1 ounce Patron Orange Liqueur
  • Sour Mix store bought or homemade, of choice, to taste (start with 1 ounce)

Instructions

  • Pour a layer of salt out onto a small saucer.
  • Run one orange wedge around the rim of a margarita or other glass, of choice.
  • Place glass rim-down onto the salt. Push down lightly and roll glass to fully rim with salt. Set aside.
  • To an ice-filled shaker, add tequila, orange liqueur and sour mix.
  • Shake until well-chilled.
  • Taste. Add more sour mix, to taste, if needed. Shake again.
  • Fill prepared glass with ice.
  • Strain cocktail into prepared glass.
  • Garnish with second orange wedge.
  • Serve.
