Dave and Buster's Chicken Spinach Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 batch Dave and Buster’s Honey Mustard Salad Dressing (See Box Below for a Link to Our Recipe)

Candied Pecans

  • 1/2 cup Pecans
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar

Salad

  • 1/2 bag Spinach or Baby Spinach
  • 1/2 bag Mixed Salad Greens
  • 5 slices Bacon
  • 1 cup cooked Chicken shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 Red Onion cut into thin rings

Instructions

  • Prepare Dave and Buster’s Honey Mustard Salad Dressing according to the recipe in the box below. (Be sure to read Step 1 under the Salad Instructions below BEFORE making the dressing for important information.)

Candied Pecans

  • Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Add butter and brown sugar to a saucepan. Place over medium heat and melt both.
  • When melted and hot, add pecans. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
  • Pour pecans out onto the foil-lined baking sheet. Set aside to cool.

Salad

  • In a skillet on the stovetop, fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon. (If you are making Dave and Buster’s Honey Mustard Salad Dressing at the same time as the Salad - you really should - set bacon aside and reserve the bacon grease in the skillet. Proceed with the dressing recipe from here.)
  • Chop bacon into bite-sized pieces.
  • Arrange spinach leaves on a serving plate. Top with a pile of mixed greens.
  • Break up candied pecans and sprinkle onto top of salad.
  • Arrange chicken pieces on top.
  • Place bacon and as many red onion rings as you desire artfully around and on salad. ;)
  • Serve with Dave and Buster’s Honey Mustard Salad Dressing.
