Ingredients

  • 1/2 ounce Agave Syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounces Makers Mark Bourbon or other Bourbon or Whiskey of choice
  • 1/2 ounce Aperol
  • 1 can Orange Pellegrino to fill
  • 1 Cherry to garnish
  • 1 Orange Slice to garnish

Instructions

  • Add agave, bourbon and aperol to an ice-filled mixing glass. Stir to chill.
  • Strain into a Rocks or Double Rocks Glass.
  • Drop in the cherry.
  • Add 1 large ice cube or several pieces of smaller ice.
  • Slowly pour Pellegrino into glass (over the back of a spoon, if you are versed in the technique) to create the very cool layered effect.
  • Garnish with orange slice.
  • Serve immediately.
