- 1/2 pound Shells, Penne, Rigatoni, Farfalle or other large Pasta
- 1 head Broccoli steamed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 ounces fresh or one 8-ounce can sliced Mushrooms sauteed in 1/2 stick of Butter
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cups Half and Half
- 8 ounces homemade or store-bought Tomato Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder to taste
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Prepare pasta according to package instructions. Drain. Place in a large mixing bowl.
Add prepared broccoli, mushrooms Parmesan cheese, half and half tomato sauce and garlic powder. Mix well.
Taste. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
Pour mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Cover the pan with foil.
Bake until sauce starts to thicken, about 20 minutes. The sauce will continue to thicken a little once it is out of the oven.
Serve hot.
