- 1 teaspoon Butter
- 1 clove finely minced Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Soybean Oil
- 6 large Shrimp peeled, deveined and tails removed
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Tamari Sauce
- 1/2 large Lemon
To a small frying pan add butter and garlic. Place over low heat and cook until butter is bubbly and hot, but not browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
Add the soybean oil to a large frying pan. Place pan over medium high heat.
Place shrimp on a plate. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.
Add seasoned shrimp to the pan in a single layer.
Cook the shrimp for about 3 minutes on each side, or until pink. Do not over cook.
Add prepared garlic butter and Tamari sauce to the shrimp. Continue to sauté for 2 more minutes.
Squeeze the juice of the lemon over the shrimp and Remove from the heat.
Serve hot with various dipping sauces (See box above for some good recipes).
