Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Set aside.
Add olive oil to a small sauté pan. Place over medium heat.
When oil is hot and shimmering, add garlic. Sauté until tender. Remove garlic.
In a small bowl, add pesto and roasted garlic. Mix well.
Taste. Add salt and pepper, to taste, if needed. Set aside.
Add tomatoes and mushrooms to hot pan. Sauté until mushrooms are tender.
Add wine. Cook to reduce for 2 minutes.
Add cream. Reduce for another 1 - 2 minutes.
Add prepared pesto mixture. Stir to mix well.
Add prepared pasta. Stir very well and heat though.
Remove from heat and set aside for 1 - 2 minutes to allow the pasta to soak up the pesto.
Place pasta on a serving dish or individual serving plates. Top with shredded Parmesan cheese.
Serve hot.
