Candied Seeds and Nuts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon Canola Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon Allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a small bowl combine all ingredients, except honey. Mix well.
  • Spread out on a parchment or foil lined sheet tray
  • Place in oven and roast for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add honey. Using a rubber spatula, stir to completely coat.
  • Return the tray to the oven and continue to roast until honey is evaporated, about five minutes more.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool. Break apart with your hands as necessary.
